How to Banish Negative and Fearful Thoughts

Negative and fearful thoughts are harmful because they have a tendency to drain all of our energy leaving us feeling completely depleted. Luckily, it’s relatively easy to banish these thoughts from your consciousness and move forward with positivity and enlightenment.


To begin, close your eyes and visualize the ebb and flow of the ocean tide coming in and out. Imagine your thoughts as being separate from yourself. Like the tide, they come and go. Feel the peace that comes from knowing that your thoughts are fluid. When your brain goes on overdrive, and incessant thoughts come pouring in, be the patient observer. When thoughts of fear, dread, judgment, insecurity, and self-doubt arise, allow them to be, watch calmly as they come and go.


Through this process, you will soon begin to feel something much more powerful beneath your thoughts – and that is a feeling of great strength and inner peace. You will begin to realize that you are not your thoughts and you have the power to choose what happens in your mind. You get to decide whether you have a positive or a negative thought. From there, you can begin to look at life in new ways and see a different perspective in any situation that comes your way.


This is an incredibly powerful process because choosing a positive thought to replace your negative, fearful ones will catapult you in a new direction. It will open up a whole new world of opportunity right in front of you – and it will empower you to create the life you desire.
