The reality is that we all feel jealousy from time to time. And whether you are envious of another’s accomplishments, material possessions, or relationship, it’s important to remember that jealousy is a completely nor

mal emotion.
What’s more, jealousy is also a necessary emotion, because it provides an informative message about what you want out of life. In fact, you can use jealousy to your advantage, by allowing it to help you identify and accomplish the career, relationship, and existence you really want.
The key to allowing jealousy to enhance your life – rather than drain your energy – is to learn how to shift your feelings of lack and emptiness to feelings of enlightenment and trust. To begin, identify what is causing your feelings of jealousy. For example, are you jealous of your friend’s recent trip to Italy? Next, identify why you are feeling jealous. Is it because you fear that you could never afford such an extravagant vacation? Then, identify the experience or accomplishment you’d like to create for yourself. Would you like to plan your own trip abroad? If so, what kind of trip would you take?
Your answers will provide insight into what you truly desire. From there, you can set out to create those experiences and accomplishments for yourself. And just like that, you’ve used jealousy to your advantage – allowing it to motivate you to identify what you want to experience for yourself.
